The magic and sounds of timeless R&B vocals will soar when Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino welcomes Boyz II Men to the Seneca Niagara Event Center at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, April 3.
Boyz II Men, one of the most legendary R&B groups of all time, helped redefine the genre with a unique sound, impeccable harmony, and a string of smash hits. The group exploded onto the music scene with its debut album, “Cooleyhighharmony,” in 1991. The album was a critical and commercial success, selling more than 10 million copies, earning the group three Grammy Awards, and featuring hit songs “Motownphilly,” “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday,” and the chart-topping “End of the Road,” which stayed at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a record 13 weeks.
Their 1994 follow-up album, “II,” featured the hit singles “I’ll Make Love to You,” “On Bended Knee” and “Water Runs Dry,” and went on to sell more than 12 million copies.
From their beginning as high school friends in Philadelphia to the peak of music stardom, Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman have captivated audiences around the globe for more than three decades. Along the way, Boyz II Men became one of the most successful groups in music history, selling more than 60 million albums worldwide and earning numerous awards, including four Grammy Awards, nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards, three Billboard Awards, a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and the R&B Music hall of Fame.
