New song, ‘The One You Love’ feat. Rachael Lampa, now available
Press Release
On Friday, powerhouse vocalist and author Tasha Layton debuted a new song titled "The One You Love," which features Rachael Lampa. This track will be part of her upcoming album, “Life In Me,” set to be released Oct. 10. Presave the album.
"This song really speaks to who we are in Christ," Layton shared. "When the world says so many things about who I am and who I'm not, I can rest in the beautiful truth that ... I am the one he loves. Nothing else matters more than that. It's a soul-satisfying truth that brings us peace despite our circumstances."
Throughout this year, Layton has released several songs from “Life In Me” that showcase the album's diverse styles. These include the upbeat gratitude anthem "Thank You Isn't Enough" featuring the Choir Room; the powerful ballad "Singing In the Dark"; the beautiful title track; and the No. 1 single "Worship Through It" featuring Chris Brown. In addition to The Choir Room, Lampa, and Elevation Worship's Brown, other collaborations on the project include Colton Dixon and Tim Hughes.
Layton said, “This album is so special to me! Each track really represents a season from my walk with Jesus. In its entirety, the album is a beautiful picture of his life in me."
Just announced, Layton will headline her fall "Worship Through It" Tour with special guests Jonathan Traylor and Cade Thompson. This event is designed to create a space for experiencing Jesus, regardless of one's current situation. Tickets are on sale here. Following this tour, she will once again join Lysa Terkeurst for the "Trust Again Tour" in November, with tickets also available for purchase now.
