St. Martin Lutheran Church, located at 322 Old Falls Blvd., North Tonawanda, is hosting the 22nd annual Chiavetta’s Chicken BBQ from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, benefitting Sweet Buffalo Rocks.
Sweet Buffalo Rocks is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aims to bring smiles to children in need. The organization helps children battling cancer and life-threatening illnesses, children with disabilities, children who lost a sibling or parent, and children facing hardship.
Smiles this year include a fish gifted to a pediatric cancer warrior from Buffalo Bills star Khalil Shakir, a mobility scooter for a young UB student to help her get around campus, sending a teen battling cancer to a Lil Wayne concert, surprising a young man with Down syndrome with a new four-wheeler, sand sculptures by Eric Jones and more!
Tickets are $15 presale. Dinners include potato salad, coleslaw and a roll. Discount ends Sept. 27, so get your tickets now!
