Nominations open for fourth annual Destination Niagara USA Tourism Employee Spotlight Awards

Destination Niagara USA, the destination marketing organization for Niagara County, is seeking nominations for the fourth annual Tourism Employee Spotlight Awards.

In 2024, travel and tourism supported 24% of Niagara County’s workforce and generated more than $1 billion in visitor spending across the destination. The dedication and service of frontline employees in the hospitality and tourism industry play a critical role in creating memorable visitor experiences and supporting the strength of the regional economy.

The Tourism Employee Spotlight Awards are intended to recognize frontline employees in lodging, restaurant, attraction or other hospitality-related positions in Niagara County who go above and beyond the everyday scope of their responsibilities.

Nominations are now open and will be accepted through Monday, April 13. A $500 Visa gift card will be presented to seven winners in conjunction with National Travel and Tourism Week, which will be celebrated May 3-9.
