Warren Peay released his new single, “Learn Something Old,” Friday with Integrity Music. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by generational faith, the song is a heartfelt reminder of the simple, steady foundation found in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

Listen to the song.

“I’ve taken to living much like the lyrics of this song describe – moving a little slower in a fast-paced world," Peay said. " 'Learn Something Old' was born from a longing for the way church and life felt growing up, when worship was simple and full of familiar hymns. Sometimes it’s good to return to your roots, slow down, and live in the moment in God’s presence."

Hailing from a small town in South Carolina, Peay brings an authentic, salt-of-the-earth perspective to his music. With a captivating, soulful voice often compared to Chris Stapleton, and a southern rock stage presence to match, Peay's songs blend Christian, country and southern rock influences with honest storytelling and heartfelt conviction.

Peay said, "My hope is that this song reaches people who may feel disconnected from today’s church and are yearning for that simplicity again. I’m not trying to change the church – just hoping to win souls back to the kingdom with a praise that sounds familiar.”

“Learn Something Old” marks Peay’s second single, following his debut song, “Gimme a Hallelujah.” This song further introduces listeners to his unique blend of faith-filled lyrics, fresh imagery, and a sound that bridges country grit and worshipful reflection.

Peay first gained widespread recognition as a top 8 finalist on “American Idol,” captivating audiences with performances marked by emotional honesty and spiritual conviction. His momentum continued with a feature on Zach Williams’ “Sunday’s Comin,’ ” a collaboration that naturally aligned with his faith-forward sound.

Whether performing on a festival stage or in a church sanctuary, Peay’s live shows are marked by warmth, humility, and an open invitation for audiences to join in the moment. As he continues releasing new music, Peay remains committed to creating songs that point people back to the enduring truth and hope found in Jesus. He will be on the road delivering these live shows this spring. For ticket information, visit https://warrenpeay.com/tour.
