The Celtic band O'Ryan's Belt will present a concert of Celtic songs and dance music at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 28, in the Fellowship Hall at Youngstown Presbyterian Church, as part of the church’s concert series. This program continues the celebration of the month of St. Patrick's birth.
Two of the members of O'Ryan's Belt are well-known musicians from Youngstown, Marcia and Monte Jones, who, as a duo, are also known as Step-In-Time. Marcia sings and plays penny whistle, Irish flute, concertina and bodhran (Irish drum), while Monte plays guitar and bodhran. As O'Ryan's Belt, they are joined by Diana Straube on accordion, and Tim Straube on mandolin, guitar and banjo.
The church is located at 100 Church St. Admission is free and open to the public, but free will donations are encouraged and gratefully accepted.
