NBC has renewed its #OneChicago franchise for the 2026-27 season.
“Chicago Fire” will begin its 15th season in the fall, “Chicago P.D.” its 14th, and “Chicago Med” its 12th.
#OneChicago remains the most dominant scripted franchise across all of television.
The recent March 4 “Chicago” crossover event was a huge success, with each of the shows hitting their season highs in total viewers. Social video views for the 2026 crossover were up 75% vs. the 2025 crossover.
“Chicago Med,” “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago P.D.” are produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment.
