The City of Buffalo announced additional sessions for lifeguard certification training are scheduled. The new dates are April 18-19, 25-26 and May 2.
The city has increased its efforts to hire lifeguards for municipal swimming pools this summer. For Buffalo residents ages 16 to 21, lifeguard certification training is free. Trainings will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Connors, Kait, Harrity Memorial Pool (Cazenovia Park Pool) at 626 Abbott Road.
