The New York State Department of Transportation advised motorists that state Route 425 (Shawnee Road) between Stone Ridge Road and Mapleton Road in the Town of Wheatfield will be closed to through traffic for approximately one week beginning at 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, to facilitate a culvert replacement.
Drivers should expect delays and follow the posted detour utilizing Niagara Falls Boulevard (Route 62), Ward Road (Route 429), Lockport Road and Saunders Settlement Road (Route 31).
NYSDOT also advised motorists that the Scajaquada Expressway (Route 198) westbound off-ramp to Elmwood Avenue in the City of Buffalo will be closed beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, until Friday afternoon, Aug. 14, to facilitate construction.
Drivers should expect delays and follow the posted detour utilizing the Grant Street off-ramp.
