Does your child dream of taking the stage at Shea’s Buffalo Theatre dancing to the live music of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra? That dream can become a reality this holiday season, as Neglia Ballet opens youth auditions for its beloved holiday tradition, “The Nutcracker.”
Auditions will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, with more than 70 roles available for young performers. Interested families must preregister by Aug. 31. Space is limited. Presented by Neglia Ballet Artists on the historic Shea’s Buffalo Theatre stage with live accompaniment by the BPO, “The Nutcracker” is a cherished fixture of the holiday season. It will take the Shea’s Buffalo stage for three performances, Friday, Dec. 4, through Sunday, Dec. 6.
