Women United of Greater Niagara begins annual hygiene drive

Women United of Greater Niagara is once again hosting annual personal hygiene drive, running throughout the month of November. This initiative aims to collect essential hygiene products to benefit the Mental Health Association in Niagara County.

The drive seeks donations of items such as feminine hygiene products, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, lotion, toothbrushes and toothpaste, and laundry detergent. These contributions will support individuals and families in need, promoting both physical and mental well-being.

Drop-off locations include:

United Way of Greater Niagara (6420 Inducon Drive W, Suite B2, Sanborn)

Salon Diaz (4613 Military Road, Niagara Falls)

M&T Bank (750 Main St., Niagara Falls)

Northwest Bank (500 Center St., Lewiston)

Lockport Family YMCA (5833 Snyder Drive, Lockport)

Mental Health Association (36 Pine St., Lockport)

Confetti Cottage (7919 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls)

Buffalo Italian Center (2351 Delaware Ave., Buffalo)

“By providing essential hygiene products, we not only support physical health, but also contribute to the mental and emotional stability of those in need,” said Joanne Beaton, president of Women United of Greater Niagara. “We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.”
