The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) on Tuesday announced two new traffic signals are scheduled to be activated along state routes 104 and 93 at the intersections of Townline and Plank roads in the towns of Lockport and Cambria, beginning March 5.

The new traffic signals will operate in flashing mode from March 5-11. Flashing yellow indications will be on state Route 104, while flashing red indications will be on Townline, North Ridge and Plank roads during that time.

A flashing yellow light means caution – slow down, look and proceed with care. The flashing red light means come to a complete stop and proceed only when clear.

The traffic signal at Townline Road will be fully activated in three-color operation on March 12, while the traffic signal at Plank Road will remain as a flashing signal.

Motorists are advised to use caution when approaching the two new signals as traffic adjusts to the new traffic patterns.
