Press Release

Provident Label Group artist and songwriter Ben Fuller releases a new song today featuring eight-time Grammy Award winner Carrie Underwood. Fuller's song, "If It Was Up To Me," features Underwood on this not-to-be-missed powerful duet. Listen to the song now and watch the studio visualizer below.

“When I wrote this song, I kept thinking about how difficult life can be and that, if I was in control, and it was up to me, I’d make it a lot easier on myself – but I’d never know then how good God’s plans can be,” Fuller shared. “I’m so grateful Carrie wanted to share her love for Jesus on a song with me. She was so kind and calm when we were in the studio. And I’m pretty sure I smiled almost as big as God did when she stepped up to the mic that day!"

“Ben is such a talented singer and songwriter, and I love the joy he brings to singing about his faith, which we have in common,” Underwood said. “I was honored when he asked me to sing with him on ‘If It Was Up To Me,’ and I love how our voices blend on such a positive and uplifting song.”

Today's release launches the preadd/presave for Fuller's new album, “Walk Through Fire,” which will be released June 6 and can be preadded here.

Since his debut in 2023, he has more than 256 million career streams. His song, "If I Got Jesus," gained large momentum on social channels with more than 1.5 billion short-form video views and more than 2.1 million TikTok creations.

Last month, Fuller released a four-song bundle that included the song "Deeper Still," which garnered the most week-one streams of any song he has released to date, and his current Top 20 radio single, "Turn." He is currently on tour with Big Daddy Weave and special guest Megan Woods on the "Let It Begin Tour." He will begin the “CAIN – The Jesus Music Tour” after Easter weekend. Underwood is in the final run of her “REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency,” which has played to packed houses at Resorts World Las Vegas since 2021, the longest-running Las Vegas residency of any solo female country artist. Her concert special, “CARRIE UNDERWOOD: REFLECTION,” is now streaming worldwide on Hulu and Disney+, and she can currently be seen on the judges panel of the hit show “American Idol,” alongside Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie on ABC and Hulu, marking the 20th anniversary of her winning the title. Her recent country duet with Cody Johnson, “I’m Gonna Love You,” spent two weeks at No. 1.

More about Ben Fuller

Music has taken Fuller’s life and made it into something he never would have dreamed. Fuller grew up working alongside his father in Southern Vermont on his family dairy farm. He'd pass the time by singing classic country tunes as he witnessed first-hand the hard work and dedication it took to run a farm. After generations of hurt in his family, Fuller turned to cocaine and alcohol at a young age. Motivated to change, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career as a country singer in late 2018. A family friend invited him over for a meal and then to church the next morning, where the power of God radically transformed him. Today, Fuller lives completely sober while sharing his story of hope, redemption and healing in Jesus’ name through his songs.

Fuller was nominated for the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards (Breakout Single of The Year, “Who I Am”) and the 2023 Dove Awards (New Artist of the Year). In 2024, he was nominated for the Dove Award for Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year (“If I Got Jesus”). His debut single, “Who I Am,” went No. 1 on multiple Christian radio charts.

Additionally, Fuller has performed at the Grand Ole Opry and the CMA Festival and has toured with Casting Crowns, Zach Williams, Big Daddy Weave, CAIN and We Are Messengers.
