Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center welcomes F. Lee Dutton, M.S., M.D., Ph.D., F.A.C.O.G., to its expanding obstetrics and gynecology team. Dutton brings over two decades of clinical and academic experience, including service as an OB/GYN physician in military, academic and rural hospital settings.

Dutton most recently served as chief of OB/GYN at Lewis County General Hospital in Lowville, where he provided comprehensive women’s health care and surgical services. A board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dutton has also held faculty roles at SUNY Upstate Medical University and The George Washington University School of Medicine, and served on international medical missions in Haiti, Sudan and India.

He earned his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Dutton also holds a Ph.D. in molecular genetics and cell biology and an M.S. in microbiology from the University of Connecticut, reflecting a lifelong dedication to both patient care and scientific advancement.

Dutton is a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps, where he served with distinction in roles including gynecologic surgeon and senior attending physician in forward surgical teams. His expertise spans high-risk obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, military medicine, and global women’s health.
