Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity Press Release

Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity will host a meat raffle Saturday, May 17, at the American Legion Post 1142, 8643 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the first draw at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 each, or reserve a table of eight for $100. All proceeds help fund affordable home construction, critical home repairs, and neighborhood revitalization efforts across Niagara County.

This year, Habitat’s goal is to raise $50,000 to support local families – more than 50 are seeking homeownership, and over 400 need urgent home repairs.

Attendees can expect:

•A full night of meat raffle rounds, plus a basket raffle featuring standout items including a Buffalo Bills Dalton Kincaid autographed cleat and a Milwaukee 5-Tool Cordless Kit, along with a 50/50 drawing and door prizes

•Beer, pop, and water is included. Pizza will be available. Outside food is allowed. There will be a cash bar.

“This event isn’t just fun, it’s a means to serve our community,” Family Services Volunteer Coordinator Kyra Rieker said. “Every ticket helps build more opportunities for affordable housing, critical home repairs, beautification, and stronger communities in Niagara County.”

Sponsorships are still available. Individuals and businesses can donate raffle baskets, gift cards or other prizes. Volunteers are also needed to help the night run smoothly. Details can be found on the affiliate Facebook page, or by emailing info@niagarahabitat.org.
