Country breakout singer/songwriter Austin Williams returns with his new single, "Crazy Over You," via RECORDS Nashville/Columbia Records. Listen here.

Haunting and heartfelt, “Crazy Over You” showcases the raw emotional firepower that’s catapulting Williams into country’s next wave. Blending his gritty vocals with stripped-down acoustic tones, the track pulls listeners deep into the highs and heartbreaks of obsession-fueled love.

“I drink so I don’t face the truth/Thought I was back then, but these days I really am, crazy over you,” he confesses on the track – building toward a chorus that hits like a gut punch in a midnight bar.

“This song is about how love can turn your whole world upside down,” Williams explained. “You meet someone and you’re head over heels, and when they leave, you’re left in this tailspin. That’s the kind of crazy I wanted to capture.”

With a growing fanbase and undeniable momentum, Austin is hitting the road hard in 2025. He’ll open for Sam Hunt this summer and Darius Rucker this fall, while also lighting up major festivals including Barefoot Country Music Festival, Carolina Country Music Fest, and Riverfront Revival. Austin will open for Rucker at Seneca Niagara Resort in Casino on Aug. 1.

This new single marks a confident step forward – both sonically and emotionally – for the Nashville native, hinting at more bold, unfiltered storytelling to come.

More about Austin Williams

When Tennessee native Williams grabs a guitar and a microphone, he rustles up the soul of the smalltown he calls home with muscular vocals and classic country storytelling. Speaking truth right from the heart, the gravel and grit of his delivery evokes an honest life devoted to family, friends, and the kind of values you can build a future on. It’s a message that’s continued to resonate far and wide.

Drawn to music during his childhood in Springfield, he started writing songs in the wake of an intensive spinal back fusion surgery to treat congenital scoliosis. During 2022, the singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and self-proclaimed “hometown kid” served up his independent debut “Are You Really Gone” followed by “Forever In Your Eyes” and “Comeback.”

He resonated with the “Wanna Be Saved” EP, highlighted by the title track “Wanna Be Saved,” which amassed 17 million Spotify streams. However, he really surged with “90s Rap Mashup,” taking over TikTok and eclipsing 60 million Spotify streams. PEOPLE hailed 2024’s “Broken Things Break Things” EP as “an impressive shot out of the gate.”

He kicked off 2025 with “Coming Home To,” “See You At (The Crossroads)” and “Tell Me That You Love Me.” Billboard touted him among the “Top 10 Emerging Country Artists,” and The Tennessean attested, “Williams has been blessed with God-fearing humility, laser-sharp focus, a tireless work ethic and a robust tenor voice.”

Not to mention, he shared bills with Warren Zeiders, Tyler Hubbard, Chase Matthew, Kip Moore, Brantley Gilbert, Hunt and Rucker. Now, Austin reveals who he is, where he’s been, and where he’s going on a series of 2025 singles and his forthcoming debut.
