The WNY Women’s Foundation invites local women and men of all professional backgrounds to participate in the 2025 Leadership Summit at the University at Buffalo’s Alumni Arena on Friday, May 30.
Following a record-breaking attendance of over 700 in 2024, the summit will once again offer aspiring, emerging and experienced leaders interactive workshops and panel discussions, as well as opportunities to connect with Buffalo’s most influential leaders.
The focus of the summit’s panel discussions will be tailored to five different pathways (aspiring leaders with 0-5 years of experience, emerging leaders 6-10 years into their careers, experienced leaders with 10-plus years of experience; women CEOs; leadership allies). The leadership ally pathway will encompass brand-new programming for men.
Sessions will include discussions on topics like salary negotiation, confidence, emotional intelligence, leading across generations, and redefining leadership through allyship.
The keynote address will be delivered by Gender Intelligence CEO Barbara Annis, a global expert in gender, diversity and inclusive leadership. Annis will discuss how the science of how we process, communicate and solve problems can enhance workplaces, and how leveraging gender differences builds stronger teams and improves decision making.
