Chick-fil-A announces first Niagara Falls restaurant opening Sept. 18

Restaurant creating approximately 110 jobs

The first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Niagara Falls will begin serving guests at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 18 Chick-fil-A Inc. has selected Aaron Hord to serve as the local owner-operator of the Chick-fil-A Niagara Falls.

Located at 6610 Niagara Falls Blvd., the restaurant will serve guests from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, offering dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out and delivery.

To celebrate the opening, Guests are welcome to join the fun by dressing in cow print on opening day to receive a free entrée.

“It feels like a dream come true to open the first Chick-fil-A in Niagara Falls and give back to a community that means so much to me and my family,” Hord said. “I’ve called Western New York home my entire life, and I am honored to introduce guests to Chick-fil-A's delicious food and signature hospitality while giving back to the community through local partnerships.” 

A Buffalo native, Hord earned a business administration degree from the University at Buffalo and has since held several director-level roles with local organizations.

Inspired after being introduced to the Chick-fil-A brand, Hord spent five years learning the business alongside his mentor at a Chick-fil-A in Depew, before being selected as the local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A Niagara Falls. Today, Hord lives in Niagara Falls with his wife, Jerren, and children, Carter, Kennedy, Jackson and Lincoln.

Cows eat free to celebrate Chick-fil-A Niagara Falls

To celebrate the restaurant moo-ving into town, cows will eat free on opening day! Hord and his team are inviting the community to show off their cow spots on opening day for one free entrée.

Since 1995, the Cows have been a beloved part of Chick-fil-A, encouraging humans to skip burgers and “Eat More Chikin” – and now it’s Niagara Fall’s turn to join the herd.

Guests dressed in cow print – whether it’s a full cow costume or a simple cow-spotted accessory – can enjoy one free entrée in person inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.

Those who dress in cow attire on opening day can redeem the offer of one free entrée inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru. Breakfast offer options are a Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit, Egg White Grill or four-count Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis. Lunch/dinner offer options are Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich or eight-count Grilled Nuggets or five-count Nugget Kid’s Meal. The offer is limited to one per person in cow attire, per day, while supplies last.

Caring for Niagara Falls community

Hord is committed to giving back to the Niagara Falls community by:

Participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food to local nonprofits, helping to create over 35 million meals nationwide to date.

Celebrating the opening with a $25,000 donation from Chick-fil-A Inc. to Feeding America to support local hunger relief efforts of FeedMore Western New York Inc, a Feeding America partner food bank, in honor of the new restaurant. 

Traffic direction

Chick-fil-A (Niagara Falls Boulevard and the I-190) has worked closely with the Niagara Falls Police Department to develop a proactive traffic management plan to serve guests efficiently and effectively on opening day and throughout the opening weekend. 

To enter the restaurant, we encourage guests to join us on Mooradian Drive, where there will be signage and team members directing guests to enter the drive-thru or park to dine in. There are several exit points for guests, including Mooradian Drive, Factory Outlet Boulevard and Niagara Falls Boulevard.
