Kenan Center Press Release & Photo
The Kenan Center and Rustic Buffalo are partnering once again to present the annual “Holiday Sip & Shop,” a three-day event taking place Friday, Nov. 14, through Sunday, Nov. 16, inside the Kenan Arena, 433 Locust St., Lockport.
This festive shopping experience brings together more than 170 crafters and artisans from the Rustic Buffalo network, offering visitors a one-stop destination for holiday gifts, home décor and handcrafted goods. The event also serves as an important fundraiser, with all proceeds directly supporting the mission of The Kenan Center.
“The ‘Holiday Sip & Shop’ has become quite the community tradition,” said Austin Hinton, marketing director at The Kenan Center. “We see thousands of visitors throughout the Rustic Buffalo weekend, and it’s a great way for people to jump-start their holiday season, support local business, and fundraise for the Kenan Center.”
In addition to shopping opportunities, guests will enjoy live music, food tastings, and beverages throughout the weekend. Beer, wine, mimosas and specialty drinks will be available, along with a variety of hot food vendors. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle jackpot, more than 50 themed basket raffles, and a liquor giveaway valued at over $500.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m., and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 at the door, which includes a $5 coupon toward purchases of $25 or more. Children under age 5 are admitted free.
Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online to skip the line and receive VIP entry and a free mystery gift from Rustic Buffalo. Online tickets are available at:

Holiday tradition that gives back
Each year, the “Holiday Sip & Shop” draws thousands of visitors from across Western New York who come to enjoy the festive atmosphere and support local artisans. The event’s proceeds benefit The Kenan Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the community through arts, education and recreation.
“Events like this make a real difference for us,” said Lea Sobieraski, COO of the Kenan Center. “Every single visitor to our campus helps sustain the many programs and opportunities … that make Kenan a pillar of the Lockport and Niagara County communities.”
