Western New York’s largest equine showcase, WNY Equifest returns to the Hamburg Fairgrounds this weekend. Produced by the Erie County Agricultural Society, Equifest invites horse lovers of all ages to enjoy two full days of demonstrations, educational seminars, and family-friendly fun. Admission and parking are free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday inside the Agriculture Discovery Center & Showplex (enter off McKinley Parkway, closest to Quinby Drive).
Equifest features a full schedule of equine demonstrations and educational sessions, plus nearly 100 vendors offering equine products, western apparel, jewelry, and more.
The “Family Fun Corral” will have hands-on activities including crafts, stick horse races, an equine veterinary station, and a harness racing simulator. Don’t miss the maple syrup demonstrations daily from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Fair-ly Sweet Sugar House.
