Tops launches 'MoolahVille,' bringing new world of cashback rewards

Tops Friendly Markets is inviting customers to book their next trip to the news Tops “MoolahVille” – where your grocery shop pays you back. From March 22 through May 23, shoppers at all 147 store locations can enter the whimsical world enchanted by “Moolah” – a Tops-exclusive currency they can earn by collecting coins and keys for redeemable gift cards.

For a limited time only, Tops “MoolahVille” will transform everyday shopping trips into opportunities to play, earn unlimited $10 rewards, or even win free groceries for a year.

“ ‘MoolahVille’ might be a fun, imaginary place – but it will all add up to serious, real-life savings,” Tops President Ron Ferri said. “Our team has been designing and building on ‘MoolahVille’ for a while, so I’m excited for shoppers to explore it and discover all the ways it will help them save on essential everyday items. My favorite part is that the online platform was created to give customers the chance to win prizes like free groceries for a year and help to provide meals for neighbors in need.”

Here’s how you can visit Tops “MoolahVille”:

•Get rewarded with “Moolah” just for shopping with Tops: Earn 10 coins every time you spend $50 or more in a single shopping trip. You’ll also get another 1 to 5 coins every time you purchase one of thousands of select items that are identified by special color-coded shelf tags throughout the store using your Tops BonusPlus card. Those coins will accumulate quickly. (Coins can only be earned in the March 22-May 23 timeframe.)

Don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the weekly digital doorbuster as you can unlock a special e-coupon via QR code found in-store or in our ad.

•Redeem your coins for unlimited $10 rewards cards: You can redeem 100 coins in store for a $10 rewards card – and there is no limit to the number of rewards cards you can earn!

Rewards cards are valid on all your shopping trips through June 13.

•Play online for even more perks: Exploring the digital world of MoolahVille.com is a bonus chance to win extra prizes and coupons – every time you shop and spend $10 or more, you earn one online game key. Every key you earn unlocks another chance to win prizes, like Tops e-gift cards, free product e-coupons, sweepstakes entries for chances to win free groceries for a year, and more. And because we’re always thinking about our neighbors, online game play can also help win local meal donations for those in need.

As soon as shoppers begin to play, they will start seeing their “Moolah” balance reflected on their receipts and on the Tops mobile app. Ready to redeem? Simply tell a cashier at checkout and coins will be redeemed on the spot. All coins expire May 30 – so get to playing!
