Wolfgang awarded

Lewiston's Jerald I. Wolfgang recently received a mark of distinction for his honorary work in the community at the 2010 Small Business Matchmaker Awards Luncheon. He was awarded the U.S. Small Business Administration Buffalo District Director's Small Business Week Special Award of Distinction and Achievement.

He described the experience as "exhilarating" and a "satisfaction of recognition." Amongst his many accomplishments include developing more than $6 million in training grants for the business industry in Western New York and hosting the local cable TV show "Target Success."

He also has served many non-profit organizations around the area and continues to serve as the vice chairman of the board of directors at the United Way of Greater Niagara.

Wolfgang shares his knowledge with his students at Niagara University. He is an adjunct professor in the College of Hospitality and Tourism. He guides students to becoming better prepared for the workplace and developing into intellectual business people, of that he is.
