The Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce announced the appointment of James Burns as the new president and CEO, effective immediately. With an extensive background in business leadership and community engagement, Burns brings a wealth of experience and a fresh vision to the chamber.

He joins the Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce with a mission to drive economic growth, support local businesses, and enhance the overall business environment in Cheektowaga. With a strong commitment to community and innovation, Burns is poised to lead the chamber into a new era of growth and development.

Burns has a distinguished career spanning the past several years. Most recently, he served as vice president of the board for Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity, where he played a key role in advancing the organization’s mission to provide affordable housing. In addition, he has spent the past three years working in the marketing, sales and growth sectors within the financial technology startup space. His innovative strategies and leadership have driven significant growth and success in his previous roles.
