Fallsview Casino Resort is excited to welcome the supergroup Trans-Canada Highwaymen on April 3, 2025, to the Avalon Theatre. With decades of experience between them, the supergroup includes Moe Berg (The Pursuit of Happiness), Chris Murphy (Sloan), Craig Northey (Odds) and Steven Page (formerly Barenaked Ladies). The showtime is 8:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through ticketmaster.ca.
"Each member of Trans-Canada Highwaymen have all made an immeasurable impact on the Canadian music landscape,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing at Niagara Casinos. “There is a synergy and joy that these performers bring to the stage that will make this a show to remember.”
Since 2017, Trans-Canada Highwaymen (TCH) have been charming audiences with each member taking a turn singing their own hit songs – and whoever is not singing lead becomes the backing band. With all four bringing their “A” material, it’s a setlist full of classics we know and love. In keeping with their credo of “Play the hits!” TCH has recorded an album of Canadian classics from 1969-75 called “The Trans-Canada Highwaymen Explosive Hits Vol. 1.” The songs from that era and the packaging they’ve created are an homage to the K-Tel compilation records of the 1970s. Their hits include Moe Bergs’ "I’m An Adult Now," "Hard to Laugh" and "She's So Young.” Hits from Chris Murphy include “Underwhelmed," "The Other Man" and "The Rest of My Life." Hit songs from Craig Northey include "It Falls Apart," "Someone Who's Cool" and "Make You Mad." Classics from Steven Page include tunes "The Old Apartment," "Brian Wilson" and “Jane."
