The Lewiston Senior Center hosted a grand birthday party on Tuesday for a grand group of members: 100-year-old Nita Lawson, Althea Montgomery and Delores Strenkowski; 90-year-old Jean Taylor; and 80-year-old Ralph Abate, Jorge Campos, Chong Friend and Diana Paonessa.
Residents not in attendance, but still celebrated, include 80-year-olds Jerri Mowers and Elaine Tobers.
The event also was held in recognition of May being Older Americans Month.
