Press Release
Peter Burton has released a follow-up to his Integrity Music debut song, "Where Would I Be," titled "Jesus Over Everything." This powerful new worship anthem is now available here.
Burton said, "This song is a proclamation and an all-encompassing life statement. It embodies my life motto and my desire to live accordingly. When we declare 'Jesus Over Everything,' we affirm the power that Jesus holds. As followers of Christ, we choose to prioritize Jesus above all else in our lives. I believe that the intersection of God’s power and our surrender is where the abundant life truly begins.”
Burton wrote this song to remind the Church that everything is centered around Jesus, now and always. This anthem provides listeners with the language to declare the power of Jesus over any challenges they may face, reminding them who is in control, even when the world seems uncertain.
He added, "I hope this song serves as a cry of surrender for the Church, encouraging us to live each day with Jesus over everything in our lives."
This fall, he will be on tour with Matthew West on the continuation of his "Don't Stop Praying" tour, which begins Nov. 6. The release and tour coincide with Burton joining renowned agency, WME, for exclusive representation. WME Head of Christian Music Division Mike Snider said, “What’s not exciting about signing a brand-new artist that’s already put in his 10,000 hours, performing and writing songs like a pro? We’re all so honored to be a part of his team.”
