On June 29, at approximately 5 am, the Niagara Falls Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Cudaback Avenue for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival on scene, patrol officers located a 27-year-old male who had a gunshot wound to his abdomen. The male victim was transported to the Erie County Medical Center for treatment and is listed in stable condition.
During the investigation, it was determined that this was an isolated incident between parties from a nearby establishment.
Detectives in the criminal investigation division are actively investigating this incident, and are asking anyone with information to contact the criminal investigation division at 716-286-4553.
The investigation is ongoing; the victim’s or suspect’s name is not being released at this time.
