Press Release
“American Idol” and “The Voice” alum Jeremy Rosado has waited over 10 years for his music to soar, and it finally is with the release of his debut album, “The Waiting Room.” Listen to the full-length album from Capitol Christian Music Group.
" ‘The Waiting Room’ album is so special to me," Rosado said. "I’ve worked for over two years crafting the songs on this record. I’ve seen incredible highs and some low lows; but through it all, my God has been faithful to me. This album is for anyone who’s ever felt like they were in a waiting season, believing one day their name would be called and they would walk into the thing they felt called to. It’s not always easy in a waiting season; but on the other side, there's freedom, purpose, healing, and, God willing, the thing they’d believed in. This album marks the end of a season for me, one of waiting for my name to be called. I’m finally here, and this album is the beginning of the best season of my life. I pray every person who hears this record will be filled with faith and keep holding on."
Rosado's 12-song album has been a decade in the making. In the past six months alone, he has gained over 150,000 followers on social media, eagerly anticipating the release of his album. His music has amassed over 100 million total views and generated 70,000 creations. His heartfelt songs have inspired many, including "Hero In The Room," which celebrates fathers; and "Keep Holding On," which provides support during difficult circumstances. His monthly streams on Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube have nearly doubled since April, captivating the hearts of millions of online listeners.
Rosado is currently sharing songs from his new album on tour, which continues through the summer. Tickets can be purchased here.
More about Jeremy Rosado
Rosado grew up in a large Puerto Rican family in Queens. He began singing at neighborhood block parties and, at the age of 10, his family moved to Florida. There, he started participating in the choir at church and school. He eventually became a worship leader and began to gain recognition in the local music scene. At 19, Jeremy reached the Top 12 on “American Idol.”
By the age of 21, he had the opportunity to open for Andrea Bocelli in Germany, which he considered a significant turning point in his career. However, later that year, Rosado made the life-changing decision to take over guardianship of his niece, as he was the most suited to care for her. He dedicated the next seven years to being a father figure. Now that his daughter is 22, Rosado is ready to return to the music scene. He recently competed on “The Voice” and secured a recording contract with Capitol CMG/Universal Music Group.
