Tops Friendly Markets Press Release & Photo
Tops Friendly Markets believes in giving back to the communities it serves. Thanks to the generosity of its customers and associates Tops was able to exceed this year’s goal for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals raising over $414,000.
Customers were able to support the CMNH campaign by purchasing a $1 Children’s Miracle Network “Miracle Balloon” or rounding up their change at any participating Tops, where proceeds from the campaign benefit the local women and children’s hospitals in its communities. Thanks to the generous support of its shoppers, associates and vendors over the 20 years Tops has been involved in supporting the campaign, it has helped to successfully raise over $14 million.
"We are truly humbled by the outpouring of generosity from our customers, associates and vendor partners in support of this vital campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Surpassing our goal this year and raising over $414,000 is a testament to the strength and compassion of the communities we serve,” said president of Tops Markets, Ron Ferri. “Every dollar raised directly impacts the lives of children and families across our region, and we couldn’t be more grateful for everyone who made this possible. Thank you for standing with us to make miracles happen."
Beneficiaries include:
Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital

Donations go to local hospitals to fund lifesaving treatments and health care services, research, and pediatric medical equipment. The campaign also provides child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford health services. When we improve the health of all children and allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential, we also improve our communities for years to come.
