“Their music is woven into the fabric of Canadian rock history, and this performance will be a nostalgic celebration for fans who grew up with their music. It’s an honor to host such legendary talent right here in Niagara Falls,” said Cathy Price, vice president of marketing and resort operations, Niagara Casinos.
Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings, the legendary songwriting duo behind many of The Guess Who’s biggest hits, helped set the standard for Canadian rock. Chart-topping classics “These Eyes,” “American Woman” and “No Time” propelled the band to international acclaim. The 1970 album “American Woman” made history as the first Billboard No. 1 album by a Canadian group.
Following their time with The Guess Who, both artists continued to shape the music landscape. Cummings launched a successful solo career with hits “Stand Tall” and the record-breaking album “Dream of a Child.” Bachman co-founded Bachman-Turner Overdrive, delivering rock staples “Takin’ Care of Business” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet.”
Today, Bachman and Cummings continue to captivate audiences, reuniting on stage to celebrate their shared legacy. Their enduring influence and unmistakable sound have solidified their place as pioneers of Canadian music.
