Pat Barrett releases new song 'I've Got A Fire' with music video featuring his dad

Artist and songwriter Pat Barrett has released a new song titled "I've Got A Fire." This track features a powerful ’80s rock vibe that resonates with all generations. Accompanying the release is an original music video showcasing Barrett's father and his charismatic personality, linked below.

This is the second song to be released from his upcoming album, set to be out this fall. This summer, he debuted the song, "Praise The Lord Forever," which feels like Sunday morning in a song. In October, Barrett will be hitting the road for the highly anticipated “King of Hearts Tour,” featuring Brandon Lake and special guest Franni Cash.

Barrett has established himself as a leading songwriter in the modern worship genre. He is recognized for co-writing several notable songs, including the No. 1 Billboard Christian Airplay and Billboard Christian AC radio hit “Build My Life,” which has also received RIAA Gold certification. His other popular songs include “Good Good Father,” “The Way (New Horizon),” and the Grammy-nominated 2024 hit single “Praise” by Elevation Worship.

To date, Barrett has accumulated over 713 million career streams and has 1.8 million listeners on Spotify. He is also a member of the worship collective Sons Of Sunday, whose latest album is now available.

More about Pat Barrett: As a respected songwriter and artist in the broader worship music community, Barrett, an artist based in Atlanta, released his solo debut album in 2018. He was nominated for the prestigious New Artist of the Year for the 49th GMA Dove Awards. He was also the first signing on Chris Tomlin’s label imprint, Bowyer & Bow, in partnership with Capitol CMG.

In 2021, Barrett released his studio project, “Act Justly, Love Mercy, Walk Humbly,” a 17-track studio album featuring songs such as "Morning By Morning (I Will Trust)," "As For Me (Featuring Chris Tomlin)," and the title track. He released his studio album “Shelter” in October 2023.
