“This song was birthed out of a season when I was wrestling with shame and the old labels I used to wear,” she said. “God had to remind me that, because of Jesus, my identity is no longer ‘broken’ or ‘sinner.’ Instead, he calls me righteous and redeemed. He calls me his child. Writing this song was my way of processing that truth in real time. He’s taken the messy parts of my story and shown me how he’s been weaving them into a beautiful mosaic all along.”

I wrote it for anyone who feels too far gone, as a reminder that grace rewrites our story. It’s not about perfection; it’s about redemption.
