Worship artist and songwriter Steffany Gretzinger has released a brand-new nine-track album, “Psalms,” on all streaming platforms. The album sets music to select passages from the Psalms, and was recorded over a two-day period this spring at Gretzinger’s home in Tennessee.

"The Psalms are the most-read book of the Bible. They hold such precious prophecy about Jesus, and honest prayers, from laments to hymns of praise and everything in between,” Gretzinger shared. “The psalmists knew a secret. They knew the Lord to be their strength and their song, their help in every season. All through the day. All through the night. They learned how to remind their souls of the greatness of his faithfulness, who he had always been, and who he would always be.”

This new album follows Gretzinger’s “The Narrow Way” (2023) project, which includes the stand-out track “No Turning Back” featuring Leeland. Her hope is that these psalms set to music will move God’s heart, bring him great glory and great joy, and that they will strengthen and stir the listener’s hunger for his holy, helpful word.

The album cover art is an original painting by Nashville artist Amelia J. Moore, and was directly inspired by these songs and Psalms. Visualizer videos are available on YouTube to accompany the audio release and show Moore’s entire process for creating the cover.

“Psalms” is available now on all streaming platforms.
