The intersection of Niagara Falls Boulevard and 66th Street/Factory Outlet Boulevard was closed for approximately three hours between 11:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Saturday, while the Niagara Falls Police Department crash investigation unit investigated a crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

A 2013 Buick Lacrosse operated by a 41-year-old Buffalo man was making a left hand turn off Factory Outlet Boulevard when it collided with a pedestrian headed southbound in the crosswalk.

The 66-year-old male pedestrian appeared to have head and rib injuries and was taken to ECMC by ambulance. His condition was unknown at the time, but his injuries appeared non-life-threatening.

The driver of the vehicle is cooperating in the investigation, which is being continued by the crash investigation unit. If you were a witness to this crash, call the Niagara Falls Police Department at 716-286-4563, Ext. 3, and leave your name and phone number.
