Dear fellow Grand Islanders,

As your town judge, it is a privilege to serve this community in a role that holds immense responsibility, and one that directly impacts the lives of all who live here.

I am deeply committed to fairness, integrity and justice. Every individual who enters my courtroom, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. I believe in upholding the law with the highest standard of professionalism, and I will always prioritize impartiality over personal beliefs or outside influences.

Throughout my career as an attorney, I have dedicated myself to understanding the intricacies of the law and the human experiences behind each case. I have seen firsthand how the legal system can both uplift and fail individuals. As judge, I promise to be a fair and thoughtful decision-maker, striving to ensure that our legal process serves everyone equitably.

Justice is not just about applying the law  it is about listening to those who seek justice and ensuring that their voices are heard. It is about ensuring that every case is treated with the attention and care it deserves. A judge should be not only possess a substantial knowledge of the law but also someone who leads with empathy, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the rule of law.

If you entrust me with this responsibility, I promise to continue working diligently to create a courtroom that upholds the values of fairness and accountability. I will prioritize transparency and accessibility, ensuring that all who come before the court understand the process and feel that they are being treated justly.

In addition to my experience in the courtroom, I have a deep understanding of the challenges our community faces, and I am dedicated to working alongside local leaders, law enforcement, and social organizations to address those challenges effectively. Whether it’s promoting alternatives to incarceration for nonviolent offenders or addressing issues such as domestic violence, mental health, addiction, or homelessness, I will strive to make decisions that have a positive, long-term impact on our community.

I ask for your trust. I ask for your vote so that I may continue to serve this community with fairness, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to justice. Together, we can ensure that our legal system is one that reflects the values we hold dear  respect, fairness, and justice.

I humbly ask for your vote in this election.
