Press Release

Today, multi-talented artist and producer JVKE and singer-songwriter Forrest Frank are releasing their collaborative holiday album, “this is what christmas feels like,” via AWAL. The nine-track album features six new songs, a festive remix of JVKE’s hit single “her” featuring Frank, their previously released duet “Christmas Morning,” plus an interlude.

Of the album, JVKE said, “There’s nothing quite like the feeling of Christmas. Creating this album felt like a gift in and of itself."

Frank is award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist who approaches life and music with gratitude and intent. This mindset underscores his music, and it’s why his Grammy-nominated, RIAA Gold-Certified album, “Child Of God,” was the best-selling Christian album of 2024 – and his latest, “Child Of God II,” is also a best-seller.

This summer, after breaking his back in a freak accident, Frank released several new viral tracks including “God’s Got My Back,” “Lemonade,” “Selah” and his latest, “The Rock” with Crowder.

JVKE continues to remain one of the top songwriters and producers in the game. His breakout hit, “Upside Down,” went viral following its release in 2020 and has generated over 125 million streams to date. The song’s meteoric success led to a Charlie Puth remix collaboration, which earned both JVKE and Puth a 2021 Trending VMA nomination. JVKE followed up his debut single with a series of releases in 2021 including his second viral hit, “this is what falling in love feels like,” which went top 10 at pop radio. In 2022 he release his debut full-length, “this is what ____feels like (Vol, 1-4),” featuring the meteoric hit “golden hour.
