Statement from Niagara County Legislature Chairman Becky Wydysh on the passing of former legislator Owen Steed:
“It’s a very sad day in Niagara County with the passing of former Niagara County legislator Owen Steed. Owen was a gentle soul who never cared about politics, only serving his community in the best way he could. He was a friend to all and had a smile that could light up the whole room. Our deepest condolences to his family and all those who loved him.”
Owen served in the Niagara County Legislature from 2012-21.
