Press Release
ELEVATION RHYTHM, the youth-driven worship collective of Elevation Church, releases their brand-new single “Thank God I’m Free” featuring worship artist Lizzie Morgan, available everywhere. The song is a bold celebration of redemption and freedom in Christ, blending modern worship energy with a message rooted in gratitude, joy, and purpose.
"Thank God I'm Free" can be streamed here.
Built on the truth that freedom has already been paid for, “Thank God I’m Free” invites listeners to move from reflection to response – singing, dancing and declaring what Jesus has done.
"I hope anyone who hears this song will be a walking billboard of God’s unending love for us,” said Davide Mutendji of ELEVATION RHYTHM. “The Bible tells us that, for the joy set before him, Jesus endured the cross and broke his body. Yes, there was pain, but there was also purpose. So, my prayer is that, no matter what anyone is going through, as they play this song, they would sing, dance, and believe that freedom has already been paid for. Because of Jesus, we get to say, ‘Thank God that I’m free.’ ”
The release comes during a landmark season for ELEVATION RHYTHM, who have fully embraced touring in 2025 with their debut headline run, “The Goodbye Yesterday Tour.” Inspired by their latest album, “Victory Lap,” “The Goodbye Yesterday Tour” represents a season of hope-filled music centered on what it means to run with Jesus. Their momentum continues with recent releases, including “WASHED,” which surpassed 1 million streams in its first week. More new music is expected this year.
ELEVATION RHYTHM will kick off part II of “The Goodbye Yesterday Tour” this month, heading to the West Coast with special guests Strings and Heart. The second leg is on sale now, with almost all dates already sold out, and promises more than just a concert – creating space to sing loudly, dance freely, and worship together. Elevation RHYTHM released their first album, “Growing Pains,” in 2022, followed by “This Is The Gospel” in 2023, which featured the original version of “Praises.” After topping Christian radio in 2024 with the remix of “Praises” featuring Forrest Frank, they returned to No. 1 in 2025 with their single “Goodbye Yesterday.” Their latest album, “Victory Lap,” was released in May 2025 and includes the breakout song, “Sing Of Your Love.”
The ensemble has evolved from a student ministry worship band to a dynamic live force supporting Forrest Frank and Lecrae on tour, as well as sharing arena-fueled bills with Elevation Church Pastor Steven Furtick, and their sister collective, Elevation Worship.
