Greater Niagara Fishing Expo returns to Niagara Falls Convention Center

Region’s premier freshwater fishing event features education, exhibitors and family fun for all anglers

The Greater Niagara Fishing Expo returns to the Niagara Falls Convention Center from Thursday, Feb. 19, through Sunday, Feb. 22, celebrating its 11th year as one of the premier angling events in the Great Lakes Region.

This pure fishing show is designed by anglers for anglers, and has simple goals: to promote and teach the sport of fishing. Attracting thousands of passionate anglers each year, the expo offers hundreds of hours of education and more than 170 exhibitors, making it the largest fishing show in New York and among the largest across the Great Lakes.

“The Greater Niagara Fishing Expo is a place where every angler, no matter their experience level, can come to learn, connect, and get inspired for the season ahead,” said Frank Campbell, director of outdoor promotions at Destination Niagara USA. “Fishing education is at the heart of what this event is all about, and that’s what makes it truly unique.”

The Expo’s reputation as a “teaching fishing” show is what sets it apart from other industry events. Included with every general admission ticket is access to a robust lineup of seminars, where attendees can choose from a wide range of classes tailored to their interests and skill levels.

New for 2026, the Greater Niagara Fishing Expo is proud to partner with Catching Dreams Charters, a nonprofit organization that provides cost-free charter fishing experiences for children battling pediatric cancer and their families. Through the “Fishing Fights Pediatric Cancer” campaign, expo attendees can help support this life-changing cause through raffles and donations held throughout the weekend. All funds raised will directly support the organization’s mission to bring joy, relaxation and hope to families facing the challenges of pediatric cancer.

The expo will take place at the Niagara Falls Convention Center, 101 Old Falls St., Niagara Falls, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets and full seminar schedules are available at www.niagarafishingexpo.com.
