Wu-Tang Clan's North American return starts at Darien Lake

‘Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber Tour’ features special guests Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

Today, legendary hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan announced their return to the road this summer with “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber Tour,” with special guest Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, bringing one of the most influential groups in music history back to stages across North America due to popular demand for a monumental run of live shows. Promoted by Live Nation, the 26-city tour kicks off at Darien Lake Amphitheater in Darien Center on Aug. 27.

Formed in Staten Island in the early 1990s, Wu-Tang Clan revolutionized hip-hop with their gritty sound, martial arts-inspired mythology, and groundbreaking collective model that launched both group success and iconic solo careers. Their 1993 debut album, “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),” is widely considered one of the most influential hip-hop records of all time, spawning classics “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Protect Ya Neck.” Across decades, the group has maintained an unparalleled cultural legacy – spanning Platinum albums, legendary solo releases, and a global fan base that continues to celebrate the Wu-Tang legacy both on record and on stage.

More about Wu-Tang Clan: Founded in New York City's Staten Island in the early 1990s, the Wu-Tang Clan is comprised of members RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, and the deceased Ol' Dirty Bastard (ODB). Their name is a reference to a 1983 martial arts film.

Led by the production of RZA, samples from martial arts films have thematically appeared throughout the group's music, as have samples of classic funk and soul tracks from artists such as Rick James, James Brown and Syl Johnson. As a group, Wu-Tang Clan has three Platinum albums among eight LPs, and the group's complete anthology (including solo albums) has more than 85 full-length releases.
