Tops Friendly Markets is proud to mark a major milestone as we reach 300 store visits with “Project Sticker Shock” since the program’s inception in April of 2008.

“Project Sticker Shock” is designed to combat underage drinking by raising awareness about the dangers and legal ramifications associated with providing alcohol to individuals under the age of 21. The project primarily targets adults who might illegally purchase alcohol for minors, aiming to change their attitudes and perceptions regarding this behavior.

Matt Smith, executive director of Preventionfocus Inc., along with representatives from Best Self, Tops Store Manager Jim Kolpack, and Tops staff, were on hand Tuesday doing stickering at the Tops located at 800 Harlem Road, West Seneca, to celebrate this milestone. Throughout the day, representatives continued their mission at other Tops locations in Western New York ensuring that area youth are kept safe.

Headquartered in Williamsville, Tops Markets operates a robust network of 147 grocery stores spanning New York, Pennsylvania and Vermont, including one franchise location in Lewiston. Discover more at www.topsmarkets.com.
