Releases single ‘Redeemer’ leading into Easter
√ K-Love Radio Network premieres Turner’s ‘Somebody’s Praying’
Press release
The remarkable, powerful vocal range of “America’s Got Talent” alum and singer/songwriter Bay Turner is featured leading into Easter on 23-times-RIAA Platinum, cinematic producer Tommee Profitt’s “The Resurrection of a King” releasing today – while his own single, “Redeemer,” releases April 3 from Centricity Music via https://BayTurner.lnk.to/Redeemer.
Turner sings “It Is Well (Because He Lives)” on “The Resurrection of a King,” the sequel to Profitt’s 2020 album, “The Birth of a King.” Known for his genre-warping production and cinematic releases that have reached over 100 billion global lifetime streams, Profitt tapped Turner for his new recording of reimagined hymns. Other artists on the project include CeCe Winans, Crowder, Phil Wickham and Ben Fuller.
This past Christmas season, Turner was also featured on Profitt’s back-to-back sold-out “The Birth of a King” events at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. See video clip of Turner’s impressive performance on his Instagram. The event returns to the arena for 2026’s Christmas season with tickets already on pace to sell out two nights (https://www.tommeeprofitt.com/birthofakinglive).
Along with “It Is Well (Because He Lives),” Turner celebrates Easter with the release of “Redeemer” produced by Grammy Award-winning Bernie Herms (Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Kelly Clarkson). This is a fresh version of the GMA Dove Awards-winning song originally written and recorded by twice Grammy-nominated, nine-time Dove-winning Nicole C. Mullen.
" ‘Redeemer’ is deeply personal for me because it tells the story of how God met me in the places I thought were too messy, too broken and too far gone. He proved that nothing is beyond his redemption,” Turner shared. “This song is my response, an ode to the one who took every part of my story and made it new, reminding me that grace doesn’t avoid our past, it transforms it. More than anything, I want people to know that Jesus is not just a figure in history; he is alive, risen and reigning, seated at the right hand of the father, powerful and present, still redeeming lives today.”
New music from Turner is also being heard now on radio stations across the country. Christian music’s largest radio network, the K-Love Radio Network, and more outlets are playing “Somebody’s Praying,” which is featured on Turner’s debut, Centricity Music EP “Better Days.” The EP further includes “Praise The Lord (Sunday Prelude)” featuring RIAA Platinum-selling, Dove Award-winning Jordan Feliz, and “Brand New” highlighting Gotee Records’ Terrian.
Seen by millions on season 17 of “America’s Got Talent” and Season 10 of “BET’s Sunday Best,” Turner will share his new music and powerhouse voice during “J-Fest” in Chattanooga May 16 and at the Love 97.3 FM Summer Concert Series May 21 in Kingsport, Tennessee.

More about Bay Turner: Wholly captivated by the soulful sounds of artists like Donny Hathaway, Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder when he was a young man, Turner’s voice blossomed while in college. After earning his undergraduate degree, Turner became a rising star in young artist programs affiliated with major opera houses around the world. As his faith became more of a central force in his life, he began leading worship alongside the iconic Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir.
Just when he thought he was stepping into a divinely orchestrated era of his career, surgery to remove two benign tumors in his chest nicked and paralyzed one of his vocal cords. After spending months in silence under doctor’s orders, new tests miraculously revealed Turner’s vocal cords to be seamlessly healed and healthy. He went on to sign a label and publishing deal with Centricity Music and to perform on TV.
A fusion of the R&B/soul that raised him, the opera that challenged him, the gospel that shaped him and the modern worship that captured his heart, Turner said,, “I know I’m supposed to be using what God gave me to bring him glory. It’s 100% in God’s hands, and I’m just here to be a faithful servant.”
