Captured during the band’s explosive sold-out performance at the iconic Hollywood Bowl last fall, the album preserves a milestone moment in AJR’s career and offers fans around the world the opportunity to experience one of the most ambitious shows of the band’s career. The tracklist features 21 tracks, including all of AJR’s biggest hits, from “Bang!” to “Burn The House Down” to “Weak” to “Way Less Sad” to “World’s Smallest Violin," their most recent single “The Big Goodbye,” and so much more.
AJR’s Hollywood Bowl performance served as the triumphant finale to their 2025 “Somewhere in the Sky Tour,” which brought their celebrated live show to amphitheaters and outdoor venues across the U.S. and Canada.
Last summer, AJR released “What No One’s Thinking,” a five-song EP that stands as one of the most personal, introspective projects of their career. Produced and written entirely by the band, the EP features standout singles “Betty,” which the band debuted on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”; and “The Big Goodbye,” a poignant reflection on the bittersweet nature of success, both of which are featured on the live album. “The Big Goodbye,” which the band also recently performed on “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve” and “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” has amassed nearly 20 million global streams and become a fan favorite on TikTok, where it has generated 520 million views to date. Listen to “What No One’s Thinking” here.
This summer, AJR is set to headline two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on June 29-30, marking their return to the iconic venue after six years. They’re also set to perform at select festivals across the country. For more information and tickets, visit https://www.ajrbrothers.com/tour/.
More about AJR: Reenvisioning what pop can be in the 21st century, AJR unassumingly emerged as a ubiquitous hit-making outlier and one of the biggest indie bands in the world.
Since 2012, the multi-Platinum indie pop trio – Adam (bass, vocals), Jack (vocals, guitar) and Ryan (ukulele, piano, vocals) – have generated billions of streams and earned three five-times-Platinum singles, one triple-Platinum single, three double-Platinum singles, and one Platinum album.
2019’s “Neotheater” marked their biggest first-week debut, bowing at No. 8 on the Billboard Top 200, No. 1 on the Top Alternative Albums Chart, and No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums Chart.
Cemented as part of the modern zeitgeist, Spotify touted “Sober Up” (feat. Rivers Cuomo) among the “Best Rock Songs of the 2010s," while Apple Music included “Weak” on its “Best Alt Songs of the 2010s.” Not to mention, they remain one of the “500 Most-Listened to Artists” on Spotify.
On the heels of “Neotheater,” they dropped the 2020 five-times-Platinum blockbuster “BANG!” It cracked the Top 10 at three radio formats, peaking at No. 6 on the Top 40 chart, No. 2 on alternative radio and No. 1 on adult pop, and marked their first Top 10 entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
Their latest album, “The Maybe Man” (AJR Productions/Republic Records), was released in 2023. The title character is “a big sad superhero who is always questioning who he is” – like a giant out of your favorite fairy tale), emotion hangs over his head, so it doesn’t have to hang over yours.
Last summer, AJR embarked on “The Maybe Man Tour,” their first-ever arena headline tour, treating over 500,000 fans to a state-of-the-art production that included multiple larger-than-life 3-D optical illusions. The band performed to over 40 sold-out shows across the country, including two nights at their hometown arena, Madison Square Garden.
