Tops rallies behind playoff-bound Buffalo Sabres with in-store events, fan fest

The Buffalo Sabres are heading to the playoffs, and Tops Friendly Markets – proud official grocery partner of the Buffalo Sabres – is ready to celebrate alongside fans across Western New York.

As excitement builds for our hometown team’s playoff run, Tops is launching a series of in-store events and promotions designed to bring fans together and amplify the game-day spirit.

‘Let’s Go Buffalo’ lawn sign giveaway

Kicking things off, Tops will host a special lawn sign distribution event from 4-6 p.m. Friday, April 17, at four participating Tops locations (890 Young St., Tonawanda; 2351 Maple Road, Amherst; 4777 Transit Road, Depew; and 355 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca). Sabres representatives will be on-site handing out 1,500 “Let’s Go Buffalo” lawn signs while supplies last.

Customers are encouraged to stop by, grab a sign, and show their Sabres pride throughout the community.

Gear up for game day

To help fans gear up for the playoffs, Tops will also offer a $10-off-$50 coupon on Sabres merchandise and accessories at Tops stores. Stores will feature fully stocked Sabres display areas, making it easy for customers to find everything they need to support the team in style.

Fan fest celebration

Adding to the excitement, Tops’ West Seneca location (355 Orchard Park Road) will host a special fan fest-style event featuring appearances by Sabres alumni (TBD), a visit from Sabretooth, live entertainment and additional fan engagement activities. This event will take place outdoors, rain or shine.
