Niagara Regional Construction Alliance raises funds for United Way of Greater Niagara

The Niagara Regional Construction Alliance (NRCA) recently presented a $300 donation to United Way of Greater Niagara, with funds raised through the organization’s popular nail-driving contest held during its annual summer picnic June 24 at West Canal Marina in North Tonawanda.

The annual summer picnic, a cornerstone event for the skilled trades community, brings together contractors, suppliers, developers and construction leaders from across Niagara County and Western New York for a day of networking, camaraderie and community engagement. A highlight of the event is the nail-driving contest, which transformed friendly competition into community impact.

“We are grateful to the NRCA for its generous support,” said Andrea Gray, president and CEO of United Way of Greater Niagara. “Partnerships like this is what allows us continue investing in programs and services that make a meaningful difference.”

Larry Quigliano, board member/treasurer for NRCA, said, “Giving back to the community is an important part of who we are as an organization. We are pleased that our members’ participation helped raise funds for United Way and the valuable work they do throughout our region.”

Funds raised through this year's contest will support United Way's ongoing efforts to invest in the success and well-being of future generations.
