Mount St. Mary's Hospital recently opened and blessed another in its remodeled and upgraded labor and delivery suites. The upgrade is part of an ongoing $2 million total renovation of the Center for Women on the second floor of the main hospital building at 5300 Military Road in Lewiston.

Chris Kreiger walked away from RealtyUSA Wednesday with a big check and an even larger donation. He received $815 from the Lewiston branch, which raised funds during its second annual basket auction. That donation is more than double the amount collected in 2014.

The sign designates a portion of Route 93 as the "Youngstown Veterans of Foreign Wars Memorial Highway."

The Niagara County Peach Queen Program is looking forward to Sept. 13, when the 2015-16 Peach Queen will be crowned and will receive a generous $4,000 scholarship from the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston. The amount has nearly doubled from the scholarship amount last year's recipient won.
