The Intersocietal Accreditation Commission has granted the accreditation following a thorough review of the hospital's operational and technical components by a panel of experts.

First Presbyterian Church's VBS ran from July 16 to 20. Several girls worked on making stuffed turtles as their mission project. These turtles were donated to Mount St. Mary's to be given to young children who are there for surgeries.
