The forum, which will begin a 6 p.m., is meant to provide local input to make the concert series a continued success and open dialogue regarding Artpark's impact on Village of Lewiston residents.
Reservoir State Park to be temporarily closed during construction

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has announced that, in order to allow construction crews to complete upgrades to Reservoir State Park in Lewiston, the park will be closed until this phase of work is complete - likely by the end of the year.

In announcing endorsements, the Town and Village of Lewiston Republican Party reports history was made this year in Lewiston : seven out of eight GOP-endorsed candidates are running unopposed. This includes Supervisor Steve Reiter, Councilman Ron Winkley, Councilman Ernie Palmer, Legislator Bill Ross, Legislator Clyde Burmaster, Town Justice Thomas Sheeran and Town Justice Hugh Gee.

On Thursday, Sept. 29, the Lewiston-Porter boys varsity soccer team will conduct a canned food drive to benefit the Ransomville Community Services Food Pantry. All fans attending the game are encouraged to bring at least one non-perishable food item with them that evening. Donation bins will be placed outside the main gates at Elia Stadium prior to the 6:30 p.m. game versus Kenmore West.
