WABC-TV, the most-watched station in the country, and the NY DMA, will host the U.S. Senate debate between Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Republican rival Chele Farley via live streaming at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, from the Eyewitness News studio in New York City. Hosted by WABC's anchor Bill Ritter, the debate will also air during the station's weekly political flagship show "Up Close with Bill Ritter" at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 28.

The International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day program, sponsored by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), takes place each year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Inexperienced teen drivers put everyone on the roadway at risk of a deadly crash, especially if they have teen passengers along for the ride. New research from the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety found that, when a teen driver has only teen passengers in their vehicle, the fatality rate for all people involved in a crash increased 51 percent. In contrast, when older passengers (35 or older) ride with a teen driver, overall fatality rates in crashes decreased 8 percent.
