New York Sea Grant and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation have announced the availability of up to $200,000 in grants for Great Lakes resilience projects. Up to $25,000 per project is available from the New York Great Lakes Basin Small Grants Program administered by New York Sea Grant in partnership with DEC.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation on Tuesday announced that results of recent soil sampling conducted at properties adjacent to the former Niagara Sanitation Landfill in the Town of Wheatfield confirm no contamination from the landfill is impacting surface soils on nearby properties.

Empire State Development on Monday announced the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Graycliff Estate in Derby is to receive $3.7 million in Buffalo Billion phase two funding to fully bring the property back to its 1931 condition. The $4,047,000 project will include complete interior restoration of the Isabelle Martin House and the Foster House, landscaping improvements and rebuilding beach access.
